Birthdays

Well, I'm into my 40's now .... hmmm, not sure how I feel about that. I know my mind still feels young, my body sometimes feels older, my face is looking older, and the number looks worse every year!

This year I treated myself to go see the Broadway musical Wicked. It was so good. The story is based on the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire, a parallel novel of the 1939 film of L. Frank Baum's classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It is told from the perspective of the witches of the Land of Oz.

This year my birthday was on Easter day. The kids are all grown up now, so no more coloring eggs, or Easter baskets. Yet another sign of time passing by.
